Energy Monitoring System

Energy Monitoring System

Overview

EMS enables two-way communication between intelligent energy meters and IOT data concentrators to allow remote reading, monitoring & control of electrical energy meters. EMS also focus on consumer meter at manufacturing plants, LV and MV feeder, DT meters at the substation side, etc. They were monitoring systems to serve as a repository of records for all raw, validated, and edited data. The sanitized data may be subscribed by other utility functions for higher order analysis, billing, collection engine, etc.

Key features

Remote Meter data reading at configurable intervals (push/pull) enables flexible data retrieval from meters, ensuring efficient energy monitoring tailored to specific needs and preferences.

Time of day (TOD)/TOU metering tracks energy consumption based on varying rates throughout the day, allowing for cost-effective management and optimization of usage patterns.

Net Metering/Billing accurately calculates the difference between energy consumption and production, facilitating fair compensation or billing for surplus energy fed back into the grid.

Alarm/Event detection, notification, and reporting swiftly identifies critical events, alerts relevant personnel, and generates comprehensive reports for proactive management and informed decision-making.

Remote Load Limiter and connection/disconnection at defined/on-demand conditions allows remote management of loads, enhancing efficiency and enabling quick adjustments to meet demand or address specific conditions.

Remote firmware upgrade enables seamless updates of device firmware from a central location, ensuring enhanced functionality, security, and compatibility without physical intervention.

EMS should be connected with systems like IVRS, Billing & collection software, GIS mapping, consumer indexing, new connections & disconnection, analysis software, etc.

Web application with updated online data provides real-time access to the latest information, offering users current insights and enabling informed decision-making anytime, anywhere.

Mobile app available for Android/iOS allows users to access peak load information, alarms, and tariff rates, ensuring real-time monitoring and informed decision-making on the go.

Energy Monitoring Communication infrastructure utilizes RF, cellular, or WAN network, ensuring reliable data transmission for seamless monitoring and management of energy consumption.

It acquires energy data and status from energy meters, facilitating accurate monitoring and analysis for efficient energy management and informed decision-making.

We provide energy data and status to CDCS, enabling comprehensive monitoring and analysis for informed decision-making and efficient energy management.

They provide energy data and status to local computers, facilitating on-site monitoring and analysis for efficient energy management and decision-making.
